With a hardness reaching up to 57-59 HRC, D2 materials offer superior performance compared to D3 due to their higher alloy properties. Used as shearing blades for sheet thicknesses up to 12 mm.

D3 steel Tool steel with 12% ledeburitic chromium and excellent wear resistance. Essentially used as cutting tools for sheets up to 4 mm thick, trimming dies, blanking dies for paper and plastics, shear cutting edges, and rotational shear edges for sheet thicknesses up to 2 mm. D3 steel is a high carbon 2% and high chromium 12% tool steel with excellent wear resistance. Its supply condition is generally annealed for easy machining, with a suggested hardness of 57-58 HRC once dies and tools are made. Nylon HDP is a thermoplastic polymer produced from the monomer ethylene. It is sometimes called 'alkathene' or 'polythene' .HDP is known for its high strength-to-density ratio. With a high strength-to-density ratio, HDPE is used in the production of plastic bottles, corrosion-resistant piping, geomembranes and plastic lumbers.HDP is resistant to different solvents, so it cannot be glued. Pipe joints must be made by welding. It is also harder and more opaque and can withstand somewhat higher temperatures.The thermophysical properties include ; Melting point:130.8 °C, Density:940 kg/m,Temperature of crystallization:111.9 °C,Latent heat of fusion:178.6 kJ/kg,Specific heat capacity:1330 to 2400 J/kg-K. HDS H11 Tool Steel is an all-purpose hot work tool steel with high stiffness and endurance. Good thermal conductivity, resistance to heat cracking, and water cooling to a limited extent. Ejector pins, equipment holders, and shrink-fit chucks are examples of applications. Hot work tool steel containing 5% chromium has excellent strength and toughness, is the best thermal physical phenomenon, and is prone to hot cracking. This ensures lengthy tool life in die-casting, press forging, extrusion, and other processes.
